Treasured Ceremonies offers wedding ceremonies, elopements, renewals of vows, commitment ceremonies, baby welcomings, graduations, retirements, and end of life celebrations in Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver Area.
As an ordained minister, I am legally qualified to perform weddings in the Province of British Columbia.
During our no-obligation meeting, we can have an in-depth conversation so I can understand what you truly need and envision. I will collaborate with you to craft a celebration that reflects your story, values, and beliefs. Everyone is welcome. Most ceremonies start at $500.00 Once we meet we can discuss the vision you have of your ceremony and I can provide you with final costs and options. Let me help you with all the details. Rehearsals are included in my fee.

About Judy
After a fulfilling 40-year career as a nurse, I am embracing an exciting new chapter as a wedding officiant, bringing with me a wealth of compassion, professionalism, and heartfelt connection. My years in healthcare have shaped extraordinary interpersonal skills — from caring for patients and families to confidently guiding them through complex and emotional experiences. As an educator and leader with extensive public speaking experience, I am both poised and engaging. I draw on these strengths to support couples throughout the planning process, helping to create a ceremony that truly reflects your love and your unique story as you prepare to embark on one of life’s most meaningful moments.
As a married woman, I understand the joys and challenges of building a strong, lasting relationship. My deep appreciation for love and commitment is grounded in my long and happy marriage to David. Together, we reside in Vancouver and are blessed with a large, loving extended family, including six children and nine grandchildren. Through a lifetime of weddings, births, and family celebrations, I have developed a natural ease with the complexities of family dynamics, along with a genuine understanding of both the emotional significance and practical details of a wedding day. I know that while weddings can sometimes feel overwhelming, my goal is to make the entire process easy, enjoyable, and even fun — supporting you every step of the way.
Many years ago, I attended a small wedding with just ten guests — an experience that left a lasting impression. The intimacy, closeness, and genuine connection were incredibly moving. While large weddings can be beautiful and grand, with all the elements of venues, music, attire, and planning, the true heart of the ceremony can sometimes be overshadowed. Whether your celebration is an intimate gathering or a more elaborate event, I believe the ceremony should be the focus — meaningful, heartfelt, and centered on your unique connection as a couple.
